Retired Clergy Leader Emerita – Brooklyn Society for Ethical Culture

Lisel Burns is a trainer, facilitator, and longtime advocate for women’s leadership and community development both locally and internationally. Through her involvement with the Networks of Neighborhood Women, GROOTS International, and the Huairou Commission, she has dedicated many years to supporting grassroots leadership, collective empowerment, and sustainable community initiatives.

She has been a passionate supporter of the work and vision of NEGES FOUNDATION, recognizing the meaningful impact the organization has brought to the Léogâne community in Ayiti, as well as to the many international volunteers who have traveled to collaborate with Mon P'tit Village over the years. Her guidance, encouragement, and ethical leadership continue to inspire the spirit of community partnership and global solidarity.


Dr. Joseph Delcasse

Surgeon

Dr. Joseph Delcasse has dedicated his professional life to healthcare and the well-being of others through his work as a surgeon. His support for NEGES FOUNDATION reflects his commitment to improving access to care, supporting medical initiatives, and encouraging healthier communities within Ayiti. His contribution and encouragement throughout the years have strengthened the foundation’s vision of compassionate and community-centered service. 


Jean Refuse

Professor of Social Studies – Retired

Jean Refuse has dedicated many years of his life to education and the advancement of social understanding through teaching and mentorship. As a retired Professor of Social Studies, he has continuously encouraged critical thinking, cultural awareness, and community responsibility among younger generations. His long-standing support of NEGES FOUNDATION reflects his deep belief in education, local empowerment, and the importance of preserving community values through collective action.


Marlene Josue

Social Worker

Marlene Josue has been a compassionate advocate for individuals and families within the community through her work in social services. Her commitment to human dignity, emotional support, and community well-being has made her a valued supporter of NEGES FOUNDATION for many years. Through guidance, outreach, and community engagement, she continues to support efforts that bring care, opportunity, and hope to vulnerable populations.
